Do I have to be a student to use library resources?

Answer

No, students aren't the only folks allowed to use our services!

We currently offer the ability to borrow our resources and use our library services to the following people:

  • Shaw Undergraduate Students
  • Shaw Graduate Students
  • Shaw Faculty and Staff
  • Shaw Alumni
  • CRC Member Students (with prior approval of their home library)

At this time, community members not included the groups above are not able to utilize any library resources, such as printing or computer use. For those services, please visit your local library branch! We recommend using the Express Library - Fayetteville St. location of the Wake County Public Libraries, which is just a few blocks from Shaw Campus!

For more information on this policy, including details on checkout time and limits, see our Using the Library Libguide!
